STREET LIGHT BOUTIQUE (formerly known as DJ Que Sera and Rahlou) RELEASE DEBUT SINGLE "BANNANA HOUSE"

(BROOKLYN, NY) -- Street Light Boutique, comprised of the husband and wife DJ/producer/songwriting duo Que Sera and Rahlou, release their debut single “Bannana House" via www.streetlightboutique.com, Bandcamp, and CDBaby.  "Bannana House"––a dual tribute to the sexiness of liberation and the marriage between lust and love––blends dance, house, rap, jungle and trap into a music sub-genre the couple coin Northern Bass.

A 20 year DJ and lifelong record collecting has developed Rahlou a music ear that stretches across countless decades and genres. This vast internal library allows the South Carolina native to find the commonality between rhythms and patterns of which were born not to relate. With this prowess Rahlou transforms listeners into passengers who quickly find themselves thankful for having joined the ride.

Que Sera is Street Light Boutique's punctuation. If Rahlou is homemade cider, his wife is the 80 proof spike that turns an evening night cap into intoxicating breakfast. The Haitian Brooklynite, educator and mother of two uses her knowledge of music––acquired by years working at Tommy Boy Music and Vibe Magazine, and playing in New York City’s finest ethnic enclaves––to assist SLB in crashing cultural expectations and boundaries. Together, the two fuse their sonic love into, not just music, but beautiful, deep-hued vibrations which kiss ears while in route to a music lover's inner truth.

The two began their relationship in 2006 when Rahlou walked into an Atlanta clothing boutique, then owned by Que Sera, and consumed her with conversation rich with music, fashion, and fulfillment. That convo has yet to conclude. They now invite planet Earth to hit the dance floor and join the dialogue.

The duo currently resides in Brooklyn, NY with their two sons and are working on their self entitled debut EP.
